Pool installed April, 2006

I love my Gibraltar pool for many reasons. The first reason is its self cleaning feature. For many years we had an inground pool at our previous address and I remember my father vacuuming the pool every 2 days to remove the debris which settled to the bottom. It was a very time consuming and tedious job. So when we moved 4 years ago, and decided to put a pool in, I researched many different types of pools.

Then I came across Gibraltar Pools with their self cleaning system. I was very skeptical at first, since I had had a pool previously and knew just how much dirt settles to the bottom each day and how much time and effort it took to keep the pool clean and sparkling. I had a representative from Gibraltar come to my home and go over all the great features of the pools, but the most impressive feature was the self cleaning feature. He said you may have to vacuum a few times a year, if at all. I have had my pool for 3 years now and have NEVER had to vacuum the bottom. My dad is in his 70’s now and cannot maintain the pool so the self cleaning system is just what I was looking for. The bottom of the pool is always clear and the water is like glass, sparkling at all times. It is absolutely incredible.

The second reason I love my Gibraltar pool is that it brings my whole family together. I live with my parents and my daughter lives across the backyard and she has 6 month old twins. We now have 4 generations of my family gathering together around the pool every weekend in the summer. Along with my immediate family being at the pool every weekend, we also have at least 10 other family members visiting and swimming in the pool each weekend. It really has become a family gathering place, and in life family is definitely the most important thing of all.
