Pool installed August, 2006

We have a 16×24 Gibraltar pool that we purchased in the fall of 2006. The workers that came to install the pool were professional, paid attention to detail, and finished the job in a timely fashion. The majority of the yard work was completed before the harsh New England winter was upon us. The following spring, we opened our pool. The water was as crystal clear, and it took no time to be up and running for the summer. The summer of 2007 proved to be an easy year for pool maintenance, we only vacuumed the pool three times and the cost of chlorine was minimal. The pool filter proved to be more than adequate to keep the surface of the water clear of bugs and debris.

There are many reasons why we love our Gibraltar Pool. First, it is essentially maintenance free due to its self cleaning filtration system. We never have to vacuum it. The construction and quality of the pool is outstanding. The deck is great. We love the fact that is wraps around the entire pool and it\’s big enough to walk around. Most importantly, we feel like we have a tropical resort in our backyard. We have also added underwater lighting for night swimming. It gives our backyard that added ambiance when we sit outside at night and see that our pool is illuminated making it that much more special to enjoy it.

Wow So much great stuff to say. We love everythig about our Gibraltar Pool. We love the simplicity of opening in the spring, cleaning though out the season (minimal) and the closing (even with tears). There is nothing better to look forward to after a work day or for the upcoming weekend than our sparkling Gibraltar Pool.

This pool has been a beautiful addition to the house. Our Friends and family as well as ourselves have enjoyed many hours in the pool. Knowing on a hot day we can jump right in (not literally) is a nice feeling. From an engineering standpoint it is a great design, very sturdy and looks sharp. We have since added on to the pool deck all around to enhance the beauty of the pool! We couldn’t be happier,a great investment.

What’s better than waterfront property? A home with a Gibraltar Pool and views overlooking Lake Winnipesaukee onto Mt. Washington, the Presidential range, and Wolfeboro – the first summer resort area in the nation. Within feet from our door we can enjoy our beautiful pool while enjoying the scenery. No worries about crowds at the beach or lugging chairs from the car to the water’s edge. I even get calls from friends at the lake to see if they can come over to swim in our pool. We have time to enjoy our Gibraltar Pool because it is so easy to maintain.

I love my Gibraltar pool because of how easy it is to take care of. When they say that it is virtually self cleaning that is the absolute truth. I only vacuum it 3 times a year, once when I open it for the new season, once about mid season and finally when I close it for the winter.Other than adding chemicals once a week the rest of the time is for me and my family to enjoy.

Our pool has not caused any problems in anyway. Ever since we’ve gotten the pool our family, friends, and neighbors have said our backyard looks great! It’s great to just have a place where we can hangout with everyone and not be worried on how our backyard looks. The pool is extremley enjoyable.

Our Gibaltar pool turned our backyard into the gathering place for our kids and their friends. We have five children, ages 7 to 16. It can be difficult to find a way to entertain them and their friends all together due to the age range. But with our pool, then little ones can splash and play while the teens play pool volleyball, or just relax on the deck.

My wife wrote the following poem which expresses rather well how we feel about our Gibrlatar pool. Our only regret is that we did not put the pool in earlier, when our children were a bit younger…

We totally love our Gibraltar pool. It is so low maintainance; more time swimming less time cleaning. Which suits our multi-generational family just perfect.
